I'm glad we have Christmas. I really am. I mean, what would life be like if there wasn't a time in the year when everyone decides to be friendly (at least a little more than normal) and get cozy in their houses or chummy at the bar. *sigh* Ah yes, without Christmas our standard of living would be greatly decreased because the value of national goodwill (yes, this is an ACTUAL accounting reference and DOES have set value according to its context) would be greatly diminished.
