movies in the summer are usually really bad so theres nothing really new there. its not till the end of the year when the movies start to get good. like when twilight the movie comes out =P on december 12th. yes im a twilight fan and yes you can call me a geek because i already know i am =]

I know the summer of love was in ’67 but WWII wasn’t really going until the early 40s. Add thirty years and we get 70s. Besides, there were plenty of hippies left over in the early 70′s. And Indy would never do disco.

There are still plenty of good books that Hollywood hasn’t done anything with, and that’s probably a good thing considering that they haven’t made a movie that was as good as the books since LOTR. All hail PJ! But think about it, if hollywood writers actually had an original idea they wouldn’t be reinforcing stereotypes and we wouldn’t have anything to heckle them with. :)

Hey… I think musical movies are totalle amazing! They are AWSOME! ;) … I mean, the clasics are amazing, grease, dirty dancing, sound of music. And I thought Sweeney Todd was amazing too! That one was recent!
But I think you’re right, good movies are hard to come by these days… Too bad Mr Depp hasn’t got anything coming out soon, with him you can always trust the movie to be good, or at least, you can trust that the acting is at least awesome. But that has just been my opinion for the past 10 years…
