Oh, and a dancing partner for one brother...

I'm coming to this party a bit late, but here are the tools I used to find your names, addresses, brothers, sister?, parents, ages (for most), and spouses, plus 6 domains and a few sub-domains. All free tools (some with pay sections, but I didn't use them). Tools used: http://www.veromi.net http://www.familysearch.org http://www.ancestry.com/ http://www.whitepages.com http://dancesportinfo.net http://www.facebook.com http://www.google.com/ http://www.yougetsignal.com

Wow, I _love_ that Google's "Street View" lets me see the abandoned car that you guys live in (and/or under). Please do get it towed up to Portland -- you'd then be much easier for me to stalk in person, at least until you went crazy from the rain.

its not stalking!!!...i prefer obsessive shadowing please and thank you!

I don't have to stalk you: If I wanted all that info, i would just call your mom or Glenn!! *

LoL... very interesting show.....BRETT! all i gotta ask is.....why all the full disclosure? P.S. I'm facebooking you right now

Horay for FACEBOOK WYOTK! We need to throw down a get together or somethin!

I half-heartedly searched you guys and of course found Brett's name on the voice message, but couldn't for the life of me find Jedd. I'm not a good stalker, which to me is not a bad thing. However it was a good excersize to be able to stalk in the future. You both are brave, but I guess when you have a daily podcast on the internet you are bound to lose all sorts of privacy. The price of fame!
  • 7/26/08 @ 8:52

    Allan

Now the cat's out of the bag. Sorry, Brett, but now we all know who you are and you're going to have people calling you, emailing you, and maybe even stopping by your house to have lunch. You're almost an internet celebrity! Exciting!
  • 7/25/08 @ 19:37

    Wayne

It doesn't list you both, but this was my first stop on the stalking trail: http://kepler.ss.ca.gov/corpdata/ShowLpllcAllList?QueryLpllcNumber=200724210034 The Asian page was the second using that info. There are tons of ways to get the phone #.
  • 7/25/08 @ 15:38

    Soul Sister

Yeah for my secret facebook group!!! :) Just wanted to throw that out there. Sorry I don't have a cool story about how I figured out who you were....since I already knew. :)
  • 7/25/08 @ 15:37

    CrazyDave

So that brings up the question, why don't you make some of that info private (i.e. private domain registration, etc)?
  • 7/25/08 @ 13:13

    Dave

It won't cut down on the phone calls if you don't share your brother's wisdom to splurge on the unlisted/cell-only phone number. Online white pages are readily accessible, although it's worth noting that technically, both WHOIS and the White pages have you listed in Imperial Beach. @Todd: Now I'll have to look for you when I get home from work. And yes, Glenn came up in my search too, but it was easy enough to rule him out. :)

    John Bay

You are a braver man than I am! I like to keep my information very, very private. The less people know, the less likely it is that they are going start acting weird. And believe me weird people are everywhere.

Is it really stalking if you challenge someone to do it? Sounds more like a game of computer tag. You're it.
  • 7/25/08 @ 12:38

    Lodinkinni [22]

Oh, they do. They do. -evil laughter-

I wonder where the legal line is? When does fandom cross over into stalker-dom? (Not that I am going to push the limits or anything.) But I think the greatest / creepiest stalkers ever are the ones you never know about. And hey you could have some of those right now!
  • 7/25/08 @ 12:16

    Drew Mazanec

Creepiest phone message, eh? One Michael Jackson impersonation coming up! And if I was Mormon, I would have a bumper sticker that reads: "I do LDS"
  • 7/25/08 @ 9:12

    FrootLoopColorSorter [22]

Portland IS really nice, but I'm guessing from some of the posts I've read on here, that you'd likely still have stalkers regardless of where you might move. You've been outted... so I'm afraid when it comes to your "fans" (lets call them that, since "stalker" has all that negative social stigma attached to it--who knows why??? ;))you can run, but you can't hide. :)

I did the cali LLC search for Titan Arts and found Brett's name and then did a basic people search to find more Winns...man there's a lot. Love the show guys, it's my 4 minute escape from work everyday. (don't tell my boss)
  • 7/25/08 @ 8:10

    Adam

First I googled Titan Arts and got Brett's name on the Asian Journal web thingy. Don't remember how I got Jedd's name. Then I took Brett's name and went to whitepages.com. Typed in his name and got his work and home address as well as his work and home phone #. I took that a step further and went to mapquest and google map and found out how far he has to drive to work (20.4 miles). I got areial photography of both places, which are really nice. But don't worry Brett, I won't call you...unless you want to hang ... more (129 words)

    The WYOTK Stalker

Congratulations! You're part of my perpetual human interaction research project! O__O Hah, I actually did look you up via Facebook, that was schweet. However, the "secret 22" is no longer secret seeing as she's...on Facebook. As for the category of "creepiest, creepiest person"...does that mean I was supposed to call, or do I get it because all the comments I post are slightly creepy? >.>

    Matt Filmer

I used a slightly different approach. Linux terminal $ whois whatyououthtoknow.com, comes up with phone number and one name. found the other name the conventional way
  • 7/25/08 @ 6:16

    Michelle

I found you by googling Titan Arts LLC San Diego and got your business address and phone number and a link to your business web site. Then I went to peoplefinders.com and put in Winn San Diego. Got a few possibilities there, but nothing definitive. Then I clicked on the business ownership link at people finders and again typed in Titan Arts, LLC and up came both your names as owners/general partners. Once you have the names you can find out lots of other things, like possible relative names. Your parents were very creative ... more (121 words)

Y'all are forgetting about the mother of all free stalking websites: www.zabbasearch.com. After googling the company name and finding the exact city, this webpage gave me everything else I needed to know...including the year you guys were born and possibly your mother's name. Then a simple verification on Facebook, and my stalking...er...I mean research was complete. =)
  • 7/25/08 @ 2:57

    Dandapani [22]

I used the whois/google/asian journal article approach.
  • 7/24/08 @ 23:44

you're from San Diego, me too and long time subscriber
  • 7/24/08 @ 23:37

Is it just me, or do you guys think the winners should choose a new look for the site?
  • 7/24/08 @ 23:19

    Designertoxophilite

I got one wrong..... noooooo. Alas my stalking obviously wasn't that well tuned as others. Now all that is left to find out if what the guy behind the camera looks like.
  • 7/24/08 @ 23:16

    Jay

Lodinkinni, I already suggested one on Mormonism and that was several months ago. I guess they either didn't get the message or decided it was too touchy of a subject to cover. I mean, who knows what anti-Mormons out there would flood the comments with all kinds of hate mail. And they can find out where they live now...the KKK might still be at large for all we know. lol
  • 7/24/08 @ 22:44

    William Wallace

Also, brett, jedd, glenn, todd....I see a pattern here.
  • 7/24/08 @ 22:43

    William Wallace

I figured it out through whois and then article A new way to choose what Golf Ball you use that mentions "Brett and Jedd Winn".
  • 7/24/08 @ 22:14

    Lodinkinni [22]

Could be worse, I suppose. It could be Scientologists, everywhere. Hey! Why not do a show on Scientology, guys? Or Mormonism..or Rastafarians?
  • 7/24/08 @ 22:07

    SincerelyJackie

haha.. the reference to being number 3.. ya guys have probably been irritated with the stalking but then realized, "hey why not make a video about it" i had absolutely no idea about WhoIs wow i mean i was VERY curious about your first names but i guess my mind is just way too pure to even think of going through measures to actually "find" you guys. lol but i am soo happy the site is growing! you both, heck your whole family, deserve it! congrats with the well earned fame :D
  • 7/24/08 @ 21:38

    Lodinkinni

The best way to stalk, to be honest, is the direct route. You see, I've been planning on killing Jedd and Brett in their sleep for a while now. Just on principle, you understand. So, a while back, I emailed them, telling them I'd be in california for a week, to visit my girlfriend, and that we were both big fans, and wanted to hang out. They actively gave me their names, work address, phone number, and a time and place where I could find them, without any goodwill on my part! So, when I went there, I was able ... more (121 words)

We enjoyed the Asian Journal article. Congrats on saving people's lives, by the way. Or atleast speeding their healing process along. Kudos to you. To "JC", now that's stalking, lol-knowing what ward/stake they're in. But hey, if a few extra people show up at church... Reminds me of when someone stole my scriptures from my car. I figured they obviously needed them more than I did.
  • 7/24/08 @ 21:05

    Todd Winn

As the oldest brother Winn I'm not only giving you permission, but am outing myself. We just hit the press in Rodales SCUBA diving magazine. Page 29, August issue. North Shore Explorers Maui... Just to play along, I tried to find you on the web even though I'm disqualified.
  • 7/24/08 @ 20:52

    Curtis

I did the California LLC search and got Brett as the resident agent for free. Since I wasn't going to pay to go further, I did phone number searches looking for the Winn brothers and got many relatives of Brett, with one of them being Jedd. Unfortunately, my only "cheat" was reading the comments and seeing that one was B and one was J. Therefore I knew it was Brett and Jedd. Then I figured Jedd might be the camera guy since his son is the awesome Jason. Often times, dads use the same first ... more (111 words)

It took a couple tries... I used "Titan Arts" in a google search to get the phone numbers, your fan page is public (you know where) and from there...
  • 7/24/08 @ 19:29

    steph

i googled you... lol thats how i figured it out =P. some people just dont know how to stalk =]
  • 7/24/08 @ 19:29

    Nospinplease

haha, it was pretty easy to find your phone number. Nice video Brett! I found it by typing the Brothers Winn Inc. on yahoo and a site with your names, your address, and your phone number came up.

Hi guys! Nice website you have here! I was just doing some research for work (I'm a teacher of English as a second language in Argentina....that's in South America...JIC jaja). You have really nice videos to work with my students. They laugh pretty hard, let me tell you, and they learn the language, all at the same time... pretty cool, ha? About stalking... I wouldn't mind being stalked by you Brett ;) just kiddin....or not? jajaja See you guys!

Doh. WHOIS totally slipped my mind. It could be cause so many businesses use masks. My path: 1) CA Corporate Records search. It was free. 2) I did a Google search for whatyououghttoknow.com and Winn brother. Asian Journal popped up. What You Ought to Know, a Winn-ing combination. ^ sorry, had to do it.
  • 7/24/08 @ 18:04

    Venin

I refreshed the page and this video came up. I did the WhoIs. Too bad I only found out about this website today. XD Great videos though! I did the WhoIs way. First thing that came to mind when stalking came up.. Which I think is pretty bad I know what to do. =\ And Portland, eh? ;) Gonna change your name when you move as well? XD
