WHAHAHA Belgium chocolate... mjammmm.
Thinks of the old days, when I lived with my parent's 15 minuten from the belgium border with a REAL good "praline" shop near the border (the belgium word for chocolat :P ) hmmmmz... those were the good days.
I live a little more north now, so belgium is a little further a way, but luckily for us... they export those nice brown thingies to their loving neithbours.
Belgium is a nice place, two of the best things come from there... Beer and Chocolat!
Im alergic to chocolate... but that doesn't stop me from eating it... it makes me cough and gag and my eyes water really bad
and i'm like "mom" *gag cough gag* "can i have some more pleeeeeezzzzzz" *gag gag*
hehe
Wow!!! I am more impressed that the whole box of chocolates made it into Mrs. Camera Guy's hands before the Bros. Winn (and the groupies who linger in the office) attacked and devoured. mmmm... chocolate.... oh wait... that's because i gave Camera Guy a salted caramel while he waited for the box to be packed. (sorry Brett.) Thanks for the info and the link... and enjoy the treats!
Is it a sin that I am not the biggest fan of those fancy chocolates? I'd rather have an oatmeal cream pie. Plus you know that it is healthy because it has oatmeal in it ... right. However, Mrs. Meandering does like fancy chocolates, so I guess I'd better get on the ball and get her some.
Geoff - we are working on the {207} link.
CFTW {207} & Steph {207} - If you haven't checked already, look at your emails. I sent you a message of the upmost importance.
I went to chocolate tasting not too long ago and they told me, good quality chocolate can last 3-6 months. How on earth is that possible? My good quality chocolate lasts maybe 2 days. Before I eat it all.
Just to clear up this small thing: There is no such thing as a little bit of chocolate. It's just not possible.
And I'm pretty sre my girlfriend would object to that little bit of love thing...
Winn, You're right. Dark Chocolate is healthy. (http://www.webmd.com/diet/news/20030827/dark-chocolate-is-healthy-chocolate)
Dark chocolate -- but not milk chocolate or dark chocolate eaten with milk -- is a potent antioxidant, report Mauro Serafini, PhD, of Italy's National Institute for Food and Nutrition Research in Rome, and colleagues. Their report appears in the Aug. 28 issue of Nature. Antioxidants gobble up free radicals, destructive molecules that are implicated in heart disease and other ailments.
p.s. Jack Fisher should pay you guys for this episode. At very least some affiliate percentage. Better yet, any link featured on this site should use affiliate links.
For all those avid watchers I must warn ye...there be ten days till we must tip the brothers winn the black spot!! Arrgghh for they will be one year old!!! Shiver me timbers
I'm a heathen. Even the Hershey's kisses taste good to me. Great link. I love how there's no price until you're ready to check out. I just couldn't click "buy". Yeah, I'm cheap like that.
Way to go Camera Guy...now she [camera guy's wife] can say you got an "A". And hurrah for Jack Fisher and his gourmet sweets. I am a believer...for I have tasted of his gourmet masterpieces. Now about those waffles...
There's a place up here in Idaho (of all places) that has European-quality chocolates as well. They're not quite as stylish as Jack Fisher, but for some reason whenever I go into the store there are always German tourists buying chocolate. I figure they know more about great chocolate than I do. And you get to watch them make the candies at the store. That's always fun.
Dude, where's our chocolate?! We're good subscribers, we watch every show, we comment, we love (and some of us basically stalk the website)! Is our love going unrewarded?
This makes me sad. :(
Thanks for the chocolate torture... [Day 22 of my Body-for-Life Program, and not a free day] I'm going to go eat a 'not even remotely close to chocolate-even by Hershey standards-chocolate Myoplex bar. The 're still pretty tasty, and as expensive as FINE chocolate!
Okay the link is up.
And no, you didn't see the Camera Guy's skin. You saw the Camera Guy's wife's skin. Yes. She really did come to the studio and collect the chocolate.
Wait a minute, did we actually see Camera Guy's skin?
Is this the first time, or am I just not caught up with all the videos yet? I am working my way through April right now.
Also, why isn't there a public society link for 207? I want some cool stuff, too, while I wonder of the most random and most awesome-ified connivance to enter mystical 22...
How timely. My family went to a Chocolate Exhibit yesterday. Many many centuries ago, chocolate was used for barter/trade like money. Of course, I had to buy a Triple Chocolate Brownie Slab and use real money, but it was worth it. Thanks for another delicious show.
