Great video and smokin' recipe!! I love easy!! I don't have any easy fudge recipes but I do have an easy pumpkin chocolate chip cookie recipe (pumpkin cookies are all the rage here.) 1 pkg. spice cake mix, 1 small can pumpkin, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup water, 1 cup chocolate chips. Mix everything but the chips until moist. Add the chips and stir. Drop by tbsp on to greased cookie sheet. Bake for 9-10 min. at 375. Rest 2 min. on cookie sheet before removing to wire rack to cool.

Fear no fudge folks. You burn more calories when it is cold. That's why Eskimos can eat seal blubber without dropping dead. Ummmm blubber. . .

YAY!!!! FUDGE!

Okay, my Christmas food is sadly not really a Christmas food. Its puppy chow... no not the dog food... the chex cereal, chocolate and peanut butter! This is the recipe I use, but I don't claim ownership to it (It comes from cooks.com):
9 cup Chex
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Put cereal in large bowl. Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

Pour over Chex cereal, put into a large plastic bag with powdered sugar and shake well to coat.

Spread mixture evenly on wax paper and allow to cool.

I could tell you my fudge recipe, but then I'd have to kill you.
I have a weekend in December called Christmas Cookie Weekend and I make chocolate covered peanut butter balls, almond roca, gingerbread men and tons and tons of sugar cookies....with frosting.
My husband blames his final onslaught of diabetes on that weekend.
I give the treats as gifts but MAN is it hard to have all that stuff in my house.
And my fudge this year....ROCKED. (Which is weird. I usually screw it up.)

Okee, I don't think I have ever heard of fudge. I don't even think I ever at it. I looked it up on wikipedia and it really looks horrible. It must taste very very very sweet. With all that fat and all that sugar.
I don't think I will try, it's not really a good idea for me to just ignore all my heard work and effort of the last couple of months to loose pounds and fat, and gain it in 2 days.

You take 1 package instant chocolate pudding use half and half instead of whole milk to make it.
Mix in one container of Cool Whip.
After you have it all mixed you add peanut butter cups into the mix.
Place it all in a graham cracker pie shell. Let is set in the freezer overnight.

Mmmmm... thanks for the festive inspiration! You just reminded me of my favorite homemade goodie: Peppermint bark! Just melt some white chocolate chips in the microwave, then crunch up some peppermints or candy canes and stir them in. Roll it out on a cookie sheet and let it cool in the fridge, then break it up into irregular pieces. It makes a pretty gift too... if it makes it that far. I usually eat most of it myself :o)
